Occupy Wall Street: The Revolution Begins?

Occupy Wall Street is blowing up.  Its all over the world, there are millions of people from all over the Planet hitting the streets in their cities saying ‘NO, we have had ENOUGH’.

It is timely to have a some who is involved in organizing a chapter of Occupy Wall Street to talk on Tipping, and Lisa Clapier is down in Los Angeles helping to take this on!  So this is going to be an AWESOME interview.

I think we need to find out what values this Occupy movement holds?  Is there a charter, a set of agreements, what future does this movement envision?  Just excited to find out as this is the Tipping Point in ACTION!

The only thing i wonder about is remember Kent State? Who is pushing the buttons, a flash mob will bring out deadly force. I think this; Evolution Revolution should = Luvolution.
    Peace Rules.

OWS has a spokesperson? I’m sure she’s great but our spokesperson?

good point Atlantica…I will change that language as there is no spokeperson…thats the beauty of this thing :)

It would be good to hear if there really is a coherent message from OWS. Wonder why they’re not camping out beside the White House and Capitol Hill? They should be protesting Big Government AND Big Business. BOTH have brought us Solyndra, the housing mess, irresponsible national debt, etc. Please ask a Tea Party spokesperson to join the conversation. We do want to be Integral, don’t we?

  • Bruce

This whole OWS thing is clearly a well orchestrated plan by the same people who comprised the protests in the ’60s they have these poor sheeple out their furthering the communist anti-American cause and half of them don’t even know it…

  • Chris Locke

Lisa Clapier is NOT a “spokesperson” for Occupy Wall Street. You should be ashamed of yourselves for this attempt to co-opt a widespread social movement to further your own tiny aims. Yes, tiny – and sleazy.

  • Able_02

I believe the message of OWS (my opinion) is stating that the health and wellbeing of the corporate body is taking precedence over that of the American people and it must and needs to STOP.

  • Carol

Changing the language doesn’t change the message.

You are right Chris, thanks for pointing this out it was wrong for me to use the language of ‘spokesperson’ and I have changed it…

As for our tiny aims here…thats totally cool…this is but one lens on something so many are feeling, whoever chooses to opt-in here and join this particular perspective, awesome! If not and your energy needs to be somewhere else…also totally cool!

We are all on the same team here and this is but one of infinite contributions being made at this time….

Again, I apologize for my missuse of language and wishing you all the best,

hi Carol, thanks for this….hey, I am human and made a error in the messaging and all I can do is move forward and correct it….hope you understand.
OWS is amazing and powerful and I am loving watching it transpire…I would love to capture some of that energy on Tipping as we are all tapping into the same streams….
    Have great day, Todd

OWS motto “What do we want…we don’t know”. Now, I’ll head over to the unsubscribe link in my email.

  • Tom

You notice Todd kisses the feet of the OWS crowd, but has no comment here.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you know that much of corporate America has done whatever it could to make a profit – some of it unethical, some of it illegal – but certainly most to the detriment of the country and the majority of its citizens. OWS is calling attention to those injustices and the greed that produced them. Our brothers and sisters in the streets are concerned about our welfare and seek to replace the vices of greed and individualism with compassion and an emphasis on the common good. Support them; join them in the struggle to make the world a better place. We are all one!

I find it remarkable to see political comments finding their way to a blog like this. We should be trying to find ways to come together, in spite of our differences. The reason that OWS and the Tea Party exist at all is because people are AFRAID. Take a walk outside and admire Mother Earth – while you still can!

The “corporate world ” has been “making a profit” since ancient civilizations began! Some bad ones, yes!! “The budget should be balanced, the treasury refilled, public debt reduced, the arrogance of officialdom tempered and controlled and the assistance to foreign lands be curtailed lest ROME become bankrupt”! Cicero 55 BC!!

I posted “tipping” to my FB page until I saw this OWS! Have just deleted the post! Why can’t we have a forum without political leanings ALWAYS raising there head? OWS–TEA PARTY– whatever!!!!!!–we could go on and on and on and on—-ad nausium back and forth with “political rhetoric but where does that get us so far???? Sorry as I think this whole “tipping” is a GREAT concept but I just refuse to get involved, and get my friends involved, with what seems to be yet another “right/left fiasco in the making! LOL!!!

    Hi Lisa,

just wanted to let you know that I admire how you and all those people out there are standing their grounds!!!!! Thanks!

  • Eyesopen

Surfbaoard, Why so defensive? OW represents the majority of us who feel we need to band together for real change, never mind you perceiving a political stance?? They are the only movenment that I know that is trying to bring common threads to all of us who gain power in numbers…..no religious bias, no political bias. It appears to me that you are defining these movements in your own lense via a political separation. I don’t see it that way at all!
