Eckhart Tolle in Tipping Point series…

Eckhart Tolle

**PLEASE NOTE The Eckhart interview, which was verbally promised to me, is apparently still under consideration by his team! No formal contract has been signed so its not 100% a done deal yet.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon and the Tipping Point audience will get to hear this great man talk about what’s happening right now…but we will wait and see!

Sorry for any confusion :)

**************

So I am really excited to have just received a text from Eckhart’s marketing director sating ‘hey man, got you the interview with Eckhart’.

His book, A New Earth, was one of the main sources of inspiration for Worldwide Tipping Point in the first place…and I am honored that he agreed as he does rare media appearances and very few public interviews. Should be pretty cool…

More About Eckhart:

Eckhart is a spiritual teacher and author who was born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of 29, a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. The next few years were devoted to understanding, integrating and deepening that transformation, which marked the beginning of an intense inward journey.

Eckhart Tolle is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller The Power of Now (translated into 33 languages) and the highly acclaimed follow-up A New Earth, which are widely regarded as two of the most influential spiritual books of our time.

Congratulations Todd! I’m looking forward to hearing more! Because Eckhart lives what he speaks, it is not only his words but his presence which bring people to profound realization of what it is to live in the moment. He is a tremendous gift to this world- as are you.

A number of years back I took part in the massive discussion project with Eckhart and Oprah, and thousands of other participants.
Both reading the splendid book “A New Earth” and discussing a huge array of topics with people from all over the world was a very “enlightening” experience, and I still have close contact with a number of the folks I talked with there.
This book remains a great treasure for me — I have pretty much the whole book underlined –it was simply too full of gems to leave even one out!
Since then a truly enlightening movement has opened up, fed by the brilliant insights of a broad array of thinkers of enormous depth and greatness of heart as well as mind.
The Integral Enlightenment Community has been one of the outstanding examples of this ever growing — and ever deepening community of holisitic explorers of body, mind, spirit, earth — and the inviting cosmos itself, of which we are a living, breathing expression!
This new undertaking invites further exploration —

A most wonderful opportunity to interview Eckhart. I truly believe that the key to a new consciousness for mankind lies in his philosophy. For us to evolve as a species we must come into the “now” and lose the ego. It is the ego that is holding us back as a species, and disallowing our advancement universally, as well as allowing the rampant destruction of our planet. Through the works of Eckhart Tolle and other like minded authors and activist individuals, perhaps we can create a large enough movement to save ourselves from our own ego, and save the planet.

When first reading the Power Of Now on its release, my soul stirred. Eckhart’s simple yet profound message is the voice of consciousness. It urges with gentleness yet urgency reminding us to wake up from our sleepy world of conditioning and habit. As we yawn and stretch in a collective awakening, we eventually arise as one. These are indeed exciting times. This is the dawning of a cosciousness that once again turns inward but truly knows for itself that there is no inner, no outer, no separation. I am grateful for the world wide, social media, our teachers and our teachers’ teachers. All that has gone before has brought us to this moment.

    Thanks.

I have read “The Power Of Now” twice and keep it nearby to just pick up and open the book and to remind myself to “Be here now”

Reading A New Earth started me on my journey toward being Awake! Words alone can not show the gratitude that I feel for Eckhart Tolle and a few other great teachers that I have heard/seen/read in the last few years. I feel myself growing in the presence which is the Life that is expressing through me as me. Looking forward to continuing my jouney with Tipping Point. Peace and Love to All.

To my experience, which is rather limited, Eckhart Tolle is one of the most amazing persons I’ve ever listened to. His face is ageless, yet old and wise, his voice has a rare impact on me and when he laughes, sometime at himself, he really makes me smile ear to ear.
His teachings are worth listening to, though hard at times to practise!

In 1964 when I was 24 I was was guided to take a trip around the world. What struck me then and remains with me now is my interconnectedness with all people on our planet. The tipping point is that we are all brothers. We seek and long for peace within our hearts and meaning for our lives. Unconditional love is reaching out in many ways to help ourselves and others to transend the barriers that still keep us apart. Let the dialogue continue to grow. Let there be peace on earth, good will to men.

  • Sal.

Hi Todd, I am hoping so much that Eckhart would be lead to talk to our world tipping community.
No other teachings have transformed my way of thinking and being like Ekhart’s have.
Time after time, I keep going back to his books. Without reading his books, I would probably be thinking that my mind is ‘me’. Now I am aware of the invisible observer of my thoughts!
    Thanks, Sal.
